It gives you the option to send the crash report and a description to Relic. When I start it in Steam, the steam window pops up saying it's loading the game, then I get a Relic crash report, saying there has been a problem and the program needs to close. I bought it, installed it, then double-clicked it to run it, but lo and behold, the game crashes before it event starts. I didn't even receive a confirmation email that I had submitted a help ticket, let alone hear from anyone who works there.įrustrated, I said, "screw it," and decided to buy the Steam version of the game, thinking that Steam would keep the game automatically up to date, their tech support would be far better, and that the game would work. I contacted THQ tech support, but so far as I can tell, no one works there. I've downloaded the ungodly amount of patches for the game and made sure it was up to date, I made an exception in my firewall and anti-virus, I turned off my firewall and antivirus.everything I could think of, but same error every time I try to start it.
I've updated my drivers, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game.
I get an error saying, "RelicCOH has stopped working." The game won't even open, just an instant error message. I tried opening the game executable, but the game won't event start. I hadn't played for about 6 months, but wanted to come back and play through it again recently. I've played the COH games for years COH, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor.
